INTRODUCTION

These conditions apply to all sales concluded by Camping Mare e Monti, route de Porto Pollo, 20140 SERRA DI FERRO, (with the exception of bookings for groups, more than three chalets rented by the same person over the same period). The customer hereby acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions of sale and undertakes to comply with them.

These conditions of sale may be modified at any time, and the conditions applicable will be those in force on the date of the reservation.

ARTICLE 1 - RATES

The prices indicated are in Euros and include all taxes: they take into account the VAT applicable on the day of booking. Any change in the applicable rate, or any modification or introduction of new legal taxes by the competent authorities, will be automatically reflected in the prices indicated on the invoice date.

Rates are per room/suite or cottage for the number of people indicated and according to the period selected and do not include additional services (unless otherwise stated).

The tourist tax is not included in the price and must be paid directly on site. It applies throughout the year.

Water and electricity costs are included in the rental price unless otherwise specified in the contract.

Certain services may be subject to a supplement and may be subject to change without notice, for which the hotel cannot be held responsible.

ARTICLE 2 - RESERVATIONS AND MEANS OF PAYMENT

Terms of payment:
At the time of booking, a deposit of 30% of the total rental price will be debited from the credit card provided by the customer at the time of booking.

The balance will be debited one month before the start of the holiday.

Only the Euro is accepted as the currency of payment.

Camping Mare e Monti only accepts the following credit cards: Visa and Mastercard. A secure booking system (SSL) protects and encrypts all sensitive data transmitted at the time of booking to prevent any dsclosure to a third party. Bank cheques are not accepted.

ARTICLE 3 - FORCE MAJEURE

Force majeure is understood to mean any event outside the control of the parties that is both unforeseeable and insurmountable, and which prevents the customer from carrying out all or part of the obligations set out in the contract.

This applies in particular to strikes involving means of transport or riots. Force majeure cannot be used to claim a refund.

ARTICLE 4 - CHANGE AND CANCELLATION OF STAY

Modification: Mare E Monti is under no obligation to accept a modification to the contract and remains free to submit a modification to the holiday under the conditions it deems appropriate.

ARTICLE 5 - RENTALS AND SERVICES

Arrival times:
Rooms and suites are available from 3pm, cottages from 5pm.

The key is handed over at the beginning of the stay until 8.00 pm. In the event of a delay, the customer must inform reception as soon as possible and in any event before 8.00 pm in order to organise the handover of the keys. After 8.00 p.m. and in the absence of notification by the customer of his/her lateness, the customer's non-appearance will result in the cancellation of the reservation with cancellation charges.

These times may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis prior to the conclusion of the contract. If, for various reasons (timetables imposed by airlines, delays, unforeseen events, etc.), the first and last days are shortened by a late arrival or an early departure, no refund will be made.

Departure times :
Suites and cottages must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. Any return after 10.00 a.m. may incur penalties.

Breakfast :
Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am and must be booked on arrival or the day before at the latest. Breakfast is not included in the rental price.

Pets:
Small pets are allowed in the establishment on request. The hotel reserves the right to accept them. A supplement per day and per animal will be charged, the amount is specified in the details of your reservation.

The establishment cannot be held responsible for the consequences of a stray animal. The tenant alone is responsible for any damage or harm their animals may cause.

Special requests :
Any special request that is not subject to a supplement (connecting rooms, specific situation, etc.) remains at the discretion of the service provider concerned without ever engaging our responsibility in its allocation.

Deposit and cleaning package (for cottages only):
The contract stipulates that a deposit must be paid to the correspondent on site after the inventory has been made (cheque, cash or bank card - specified on the contracts).

This deposit will be returned within a maximum of 14 days of the end-of-stay inventory. A deduction from the deposit, at the discretion of the local correspondent, may be made in the event of missing or broken items, or if the accommodation is returned in a state of disarray requiring additional cleaning hours over and above those normally scheduled between two tenants.

If the damage caused is estimated to be greater than the deposit paid at the beginning of the stay, the owner of the accommodation will open a legal case, if necessary involving the insurance companies of the various parties.

The signed contract stipulates an end-of-stay cleaning fee to be paid to the correspondent on site on the first day when the keys are handed over. This payment will not be returned; it forms part of the rental price.

ARTICLE 6 - RELOCATION

If the establishment is unable to provide the service booked or in the event of force majeure, it reserves the right to relocate the customer, in whole or in part, to an establishment of equivalent or higher category, offering services of the same nature.
